The 'Real Housewives of Miami' star confirms her separation from Todd Nelopa after more than two years of marriage, suggesting she was blindsided by his divorce filing.

AceShowbiz - "The Real Housewives of Miami" star Alexia Nepola confirms that her husband, Todd Nepola, has filed for divorce. In an Instagram Story on Monday, April 15, Alexia expressed her shock and heartbreak.
"I am shocked and heartbroken that Todd has chosen to dissolve our marriage. I will take comfort in the fact that my friends and family will be by my side supporting me during this difficult time," she wrote.
According to Entertainment Tonight and Us Weekly, Todd filed for divorce in Florida on Thursday, April 11, citing "irretrievable brokenness" of the marriage. Alexia and Todd, a real estate broker, have been married since December 2021.
This is not the first marriage to end for Alexia. She was previously married to Peter Rosello Sr. from 1992 to 1996, with whom she shares two sons, Peter and Frankie. She later married Herman Echevarria in 2004, but they separated in 2015. Echevarria passed away in 2016.
"After the two marriages that I've had, I was super jaded," Alexia said in a 2021 episode of "Real Housewives of Miami." "I've literally been married to two guys that have been liars. But when I met Todd around five years ago, I knew that he was going to be the one that I was going to be able to trust."
Despite the divorce filing, Alexia had previously expressed optimism about her marriage. In February, she posted a Valentine's Day tribute to Todd on Instagram, saying, "No matter what life throws my way, there's one thing I can be sure of... We belong together."
The divorce filing comes amid rumors about financial issues in the couple's relationship, which were discussed on Season 6 of "Real Housewives of Miami." However, Alexia has maintained that the rumors are unfounded. "I'm married to a reputable businessman that has his own business," she said.
