In the new episode of the long-running singing competition series, singers on Reba's and Chance's respective teams hit the stage for The Playoffs Part 2.

AceShowbiz - "The Voice" returned with a new episode on Monday, Aprile 29. After Team John Legend and Team Dan + Shay performed in the previous episode, the episode featured Team Reba McEntire and Team Chance The Rapper competing in The Playoffs Part 2.

Opening the night, Team Reba's Josh Sanders hit the stage to sing "Black Water" by The Doobie Brothers. After the performance, John loved "how soulful" the performance was, adding that it was "a big statement." As for Chance, he praised Josh for his "amazing pitch control." Dan, meanwhile, saw Josh as someone "Reba can count on."

Later, Nadege from Team Chance offered a performance of his version of Coldplay's "Clocks". Reba called her tone "rich," while Shay loved her "silky voice." John, on the other hand, said that the "melodic alterations" to the original song was a bit "distracting." However, Chance called it one of the best performances of the show.

As for Justin & Jeremy Garcia from Team Reba, they opted to sing "Castle on the Hill" by Ed Sheeran. Dan complimented their "contagious" energy, and John said it's "by far the tightest" that they sound. Reba, meanwhile, gushed over how they took the notes they were given in rehearsal and even improved upon them.

Team Chance's Kyle Schuesler later took the stage to sing "Something in the Orange" by Zach Bryan. Reba dubbed his performance "sweet and pretty." Shay called it "phenomenal," while Chance said he's proud of Kyle's "fervor with the lyrics."

Jackie Romeo (Team Reba) followed it up with her take on Brandi Carlile's "The Story". Chance appreciated "the passion" of her delivery, and John called Jackie a "complete package". As for Reba, she couldn't help but cry over the emotional performance. She told Jackie that she was proud of her.

Up next was Team Chance's Serenity Arce who sang on "Lose You to Love Me" by Selena Gomez. Shay was impressed by how Serenity was able to tell the story of that song at such a young age. John, meanwhile, added that she made an "emphatic statement" with that song and Reba pointed out that Serenity "checked off every box." Chance also complimented Serenity whom he thought "deserves to be in the Lives."

Reba's Playoff pass went to L. Rodgers, who picked to sing "All I Know So Far" by Pink. Shay said L. was the most passionate person on her team, John called her "saturated" and "complete" artist who knows who she is, and Reba stressed how much she liked L.'s performance style.

As for Team Chance's RLetto, he sang Justin Bieber's "Holy". John thought it was a good song choice because it felt "comfortable" for him. Dan praised RLetto for the "warmth and richness" in his tone that "exudes star power." Chance hoped to hear the full scope of RLetto's range but he's still proud of him.

Singing "Titanium" by Sia Furler was Asher HaVon from Team Reba. John said that Asher reminded him of Whitney Houston with how Asher changed the song into a soul one. Reba pointed out that Asher "commands the stage" and that it made her proud of him after hearing other coaches praise him.

Closing out that night was Chance's artist Maddi Jane who sang Rihanna's "Stay". Shay called her a "straight diamond" not a "hidden gem." John pointed out the "masterclass" of intention, while Chance complimented her for her "cool confidence."

Host Carson Daly then invited Team Chance singers to the stage to find out the results. Chance decided to keep Serenity Arce, Maddi Jane and Nadege. Reba, on the other hand, chose to send Asher HaVon, Josh Sanders and L. Rodgers to the next round.
